I Wanna Be a Producer, The Producers
Caden Hamilton Drake Jr. is the second child and only son of Caden Drake Sr. and his wife Yvette. He followed his older sister, Lisa when she was five years old. Lisa dreamt of becoming an actress, but when she was just 16 years old, fell pregnant to her bad boy boyfriend and gave birth to a son, Brendan, Caden's nephew. Caden is from a long line of Broadway Producers, and it was just a natural for him and his father to continue the family tradition, the Drakes having a prominent name in the theatre business, not just in the USA but the West End in London. It was Caden's Great Great grandfather who started producing on the West End, with the family wealthy by lineage hailing from the county of Surrey with heritage stemming from English peerage for hundreds of years. His Grandfather, Hamilton Drake, took the family profession to Broadway in New York where he settle with his family and went on to win many awards for his productions.

Caden's father followed in his footsteps, and Caden grew up tagging along with his father with his Broadway productions and was in the business himself by the time he was 20. When Caden's father needed to retire due to ill-health with heart problems, Caden took over and won his first Tony Award at 24 years old. Although Camden was born into old money, his parents always encouraged him be academic and successful, and resulted in him topping his classes in High School and going on to study a double degree of Business and Arts at Columbia University where his successful streak with top grades continued.

Despite being born into old family money, Caden is wealthy in his own right due to the success of his own productions. He is not ashamed to admit he likes money, and likes the affluent lifestyle, though he strives to keep his private life just that. He likes fast expensive cars, nice clothes, luxury holidays, and dining... the works. He has his own private jet which he uses mostly for business trips and owns a country manor house in Surrey where his family grew up. His current Broadway productions include Cinderella, which stars Scott Morgan and Maggie Gresham, and and upcoming revival production of Footloose, where he has been working closely with troubled yet extremely talented teen new to the business, Justin Campbell, whom he knows is perfect for the leading role.

Caden is a friendly guy, though he can lapse into a serious, broody streak when he's stressed or things aren't going as planned. He has a dry sense of humour and despite his status and wealth, likes to have a few beers at the bar with his mates just like any average guy. His childhood best friend is Jared Beaumont, who was also born into wealth but chose to separate himself from the inheritance and become a cop instead. They still remain best friends to this day, Jared's choice never conflicting the friednship, though Jared has stepped back closer to his family in the wake of his younger brother, Julian Beaumont being gay bashed with severe injuries leading to him needing a kidney transplant.

After being a typical highly eligible bachelor for many years, now just stepping into his early 30s, he he is harbouring an urge to find The One. He is unable to have kids after complications with a surgery when he was in his 20s, so he realises it might be more difficult to find a perfect match. Though, being he gay, he hopes that when he does fall in love, his partner will be okay with Caden's plans to raise their children as his own and ultimately have them inherit his fortune..
